Cocktail of the Week -- Cola Boy Style



For his geographic and iconic knowledge of our great country, this installment of Cocktail of the Week is dedicated to Cola Boy. Don't be alarmed by the ingredients. Like sausage of Thousand Island dressing, sometimes it's best not to know what's in something. Just enjoy the taste. The drink is called the American Dream.

Ingredients

Ice cubes
3 measures red wine (try a California wine, since this is the American Dream)
1/3 measure bourbon
1/3 measure rossa vermouth
3 measures cold Coke
1 slice orange
1 maraschino cherry

Instructions

Fill a high ball glass half-full with ice. Pour in the wine, vermouth and bourbon, topped with the Coke. Stir gently and garnish with the orange slice and cherry. Serve with a stirrer and straw.
