Cocktail of the Week -- Saved By The Bell Edition

Oh, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa ... I don't know what a guy's suppose to do. Well, maybe super-boygroup N-Toons doesn't know. But Lisa Turtle knows what a gal's suppose to do when she's scorned. She sues:

Lark Voorhies, who played Lisa Turtle in TV's "Saved By the Bell," has sued The National Enquirer for libel over an article that included claims she had a drug problem.

The suit, which seeks unspecified damages, was filed Tuesday in Superior Court.

The suit says Voorhies, whom it describes as a "famous and popular actress," lost several "potential acting and hosting jobs" after the tabloid published a June 2005 article that said she was hospitalized for a cocaine addiction.

Now let's not be catty and look past the "famous and popular actress" claim. Let's also hope the story is false, and she wins the case. But just in case it's not, we should stand ready to help the poor girl. Nothing helps beat a coke addiction better than becoming an alcoholic. You're so busy mixing cocktails that you don't have time to run a few lines of white horse. Lark is from Nashville, so we can enlist cocktail expert Lost Beach Girl to assist.

BaT has the perfect cocktail. All the ladies seem to love this drink, and the name is perfect, even if it's nonsensical: The Two Turtles.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz. Canadian whisky
1/2 oz. blackberry schnapps
1/2 oz. Cointreau
1 cherry

Instructions

Pour all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir vigorously. Strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry and serve.

Check out what the guys over at The Pot and The Kettle are saying about the situation. And they offer up a few Lisa Turtle quotes. My favorite:

Girl, if I were Leslie I woulda slapped you until my hand hurt, and then I woulda slapped you for making it hurt.

Snap, diva, snap.
