Jake, you have found a subject near and dear to my heart, no not killer earthquakes in Asia... The West Wing, I do not miss an episode, and infact I watch the reruns on Bravo every night, and have seasons 1-4 on DVD. It is my favorite show.
This season I think is actually better than last. I mean the show is barely a shell of what it used to be under Aaron Sorkin, but like I say to my friends, "Even bad West Wing is still better than the rest of the shows on TV."
So do you think Santos or Vinnick is going to win, it seems like it has to be Santos, but is that too obvious? Feel free to email me (although we seem to have different posting hours), I could ramble for hours!
I'm just an occasional West Wing watcher, but when I DO watch it, I enjoy it. I saw it Sunday night (before DH, of course) and was surprised not to see Martin Sheen. Is he gone now? Somebody update me please.
Well, guess my comment didn't take. Let's try again.
Matt, I think it depends on whether Alan Alda would sign on for a season or two more of West Wing. I think the writers could do a lot more with a liberal Republican who has to battle Democrats and his own party.
Besides a congressman being elected Texas isn't very believable. Of course, neither is a senator (at least not in the last 40 years).
Dave, Martin Sheen still plays the current president. But most of this season so far has been about the campaign for a new president. Sheen ne Bartlett only shows up every now and then to keep a stupid, unoriginal scandal storyline going.
