Cocktail of the Week -- James Blond Edition

Blond, James Blond. There's a new James Bond; Remington Steele is out.

Sandy-haired English actor Daniel Craig was unveiled Friday as the star of the next Bond film, "Casino Royale," due in theaters in November 2006.

"I had a couple of martinis when I found out," Craig said.

Craig's name, the subject of speculation for weeks, was revealed as he was whisked down the River Thames aboard a military speedboat to a waterside news conference. He replaces Pierce Brosnan, who has starred in the last four Bond films.

Craig probably had one of those boring cocktails with an alive. However, at BaT, we have a more appropriate one for the new 007: the Blonde Bombshell.

Ingredients

2 cups crushed ice
5 shots Bacardi light rum
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate

Instructions

Add ice, rum and frozen lemonade concentrate to a blender. Blend at high speed. Pour into a margarita glass. This should serve two to four people, depending on the number of alcoholics you drink with.

Whatever happened to having a Jane Bond? That idea was floated around for awhile there but I guess Sharon Stone got too old and crazy for the part.

Personally,the whole Bond thing is so
over-deader than a Romero movie zombie but not as cool. Give the damn franchise a rest and do something else onscreen,like make a good movie:D

I'd be fine with bringing back Sean Connery. But I can't tell you the last Bond movie I saw, so I'm not their target audience to impress.
