Hope all turned out well for you.
Yeah, stay safe and stuff. In other news,I'll bet that Jay was right about Anne Rice-darn,I had this really great image in my head of her in Miss Havisham mode, locked in the bedroom surrounded by her doll collection, ready to repel all rescuers with a shotgun...phooey!
I'm a bad person for that one,I just know it:)
Definately keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
PS: If you see Anderson Cooper, tell him he left his cell phone in my room.
Jake, I am praying that you and your home will stay safe, I am also praying that all the uprooted trees hit you work, and it closes for a week. I know that's what I wish for any time tornados are near in Iowa.
I'm pulling for ya Jake, though I know you're safer than most. Here's hoping this ends what seems to be too long of a recent cycle of hurricanes, etc.
All is well at Chez McCafferty. The power flickered much of the night, but I didn't lose it entirely. I went to the office today, albeit a little late as I waited for the highest of winds to die down.
No tornadoes that I heard about, which is always good news. At least you get 24-48 hours warning for a hurricane. Tornadoes are like bad relatives; they drop in unannounced and wreck the place.
