Dennis is coming, and he's gonna be a bitch. As expected, coming ashore Cuba has weakened him some. However, once he hits the warm, open water of the Gulf, there's nothing between him and the coast but sharks.

The storm was expected to regain some strength once it leaves the Cuban mainland and returns to open water, and U.S. forecasters said they expected it to still be a major hurricane, capable of causing serious damage, by the time it reaches the U.S. Gulf Coast on Sunday or early on Monday.

You can keep an eye on the track here. But don't be fooled by the straight projection line. He can still go just about anywhere.
