Southwestern Bell Corporation...Southern Baptist Convention...hmmm...I think the potential is ripe for a merger here. If they're worried about numbers, this could really help out. Plus their long distance rates would drop dramatically.
I forgot to mention: since they've now dropped their Disney boycott, maybe they can start passing out tracts at the theme parks.
Um, BF, did you even read the post you commented on last week?

It links to the story about the Katie "I'm Taller Than Him Even in Sandles" Holmes-Tommy Tooth engagement. That's what prompted the post. Dating wasn't good enough anymore. News coverage was slipping. So out comes the engagement ring as Tommy's movie nears.
Ready, my child, read. LOL

Hey, Jay, at 16 million members, I believe they'll need more than tracts to keep up with us.
Considering this statistic from HRC, we're gaining on them.
"In the last three elections, the Voter News Service exit poll registered the gay vote between 4 percent and 5 percent. While concluding that the Census 2000 undercounted the total number of gay or lesbian households, for the purposes of this study, we estimate the gay and lesbian population at 5 percent of the total U.S. population over 18 years of age, (209,128,094). This results in an estimated total gay and lesbian population of 10,456,405. A recent study of gay and lesbian voting habits conducted by Harris Interactive determined that 30 percent of gay and lesbian people are living in a committed relationship in the same residence. Using that figure, we suggest that 3,136,921 gay or lesbian people are living in the United States in committed relationships in the same residence."
And, after all, we have rainbows, all of Broadway and Cher! Much better than tracts.

16 million members and declining, never forget...
And nothing ever trumps the Cher card. Nothing.
Since this is a post about Jesus, you're forgiven ...
