I'm Whacked Out, B*tch!

Comedic sensation Dave Chappelle, missing in action for several weeks, apparently is seeking treatment in a South African mental hospital. His PR flack denies drugs are involved.

"It seems like the issues he's contending with are really quite serious," said Dade Hayes, a senior editor at Entertainment Weekly. "It isn't a case of him spending a weekend someplace recuperating from exhaustion."

"Chappelle's Show" is hilarious. But there's a very fine line between genius and crazy. Let's hope he's getting real help and not using the hospital as a place to hide out from the media and his $50 million Comedy Central contract. And let's really hope he's not completely whacked from drugs, although there's a story he was last seen looking cracked out and withdrawing large amounts of cash from an ATM. (Hat tip: Defamer)
