Cocktail of the Week -- 'Guess Where I'm Going?' Edition

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Shortly after noon on Sunday, I will board a great silver bird bound for Gaspare Campari's motherland. To celebrate, a cocktail featuring the aperitif he created in 1860: appropriately called Laughing at the Waves.

Ingredients

Ice cubes
1 1/2 measures vodka
1/2 measure dry vermouth
1/2 measure Campari
1 lemon twist

Instructions

Half-fill the mixing glass with ice. Add the vodka, vermouth and Campari. Stir well and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with the lemon twist.

Saluto!
