Cold Warrior with a Cross

By all accounts, Pope John Paul II is in his final hours on Earth.

I'll remember him most of the courage of his convictions, despite my disagreements with some of his stances. As I alluded to earlier this week, without JP2's visit to Poland, the fall of the Soviet Union and the repression of millions would have lasted years more.

RIP.
