Cocktail of the Week: Tax Day Edition



This week's cocktail needs to be inexpensive, since many of us are unable to sit down from the reaming Uncle Sam administers today. And after piles and piles of paperwork, no one wants to tackle a complicated recipe. So for today, let's focus on a simple, low-cost and appropriately named cocktail: The Greenback.

Ingredients

3/4 oz. gin
1/2 oz. green creme de menthe
1 oz. lemon juice

Instructions

Combine the ingredients in a cocktail shaker and over cracked ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled, old-fashioned glass over ice cubes.

Repeat as needed.
