Cocktail of the Week: Yard Work Edition

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

OK, OK, this week's installment is a little late. But with spring in the South comes a time-honored tradition: mowing the lawn, which is how I spent my Friday afternoon. Which means BaT took a back seat to weeding flower beds and cutting the grass.

What I really need is one of those shirtless young men you see constantly seduced by bored housewives in movies and television shows. But such work is good exercise, and I don't mind it too bad.

But if someone offers to mow the lawn and till the weeds, I won't argue. Yep, that's it ... I need a hired "hand," bringing us to the Cocktail of the Week: The Lawn Boy.

Ingredients

3 handfuls of ice cubes
6 shots vodka
1 handful mint leaves
Limeade
Sugar to taste

Instructions

Put the ice in a blender, pour the vodka over it, toss in the mint, and fill with Limeade. Blend until smooth, adding sugar little by little until it's just right. More vodka may be added during blending as well.

Now that's my kind of yard work. Cheers!
